Operations Supervisor

The Operations Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations involved in the importation, conversion, quality control, inventory management, and delivery of commercial trucks. This role ensures that all operational activities are executed efficiently, safely, and in compliance with company standards, customer specifications, and government regulations.

Job Description

• Supervise daily operations covering truck importation, receiving, inspection, conversion, assembly, testing, and release.
• Monitor production schedules and ensure truck conversion projects are completed within agreed timelines.
• Monitor truck conversion and fabrication activities to ensure compliance with engineering specifications and customer requirements.
• Ensure availability of parts, accessories, and fabrication materials before project commencement.
• Conduct regular production meetings to monitor project status and address bottlenecks.
• Oversee receiving and inspection of imported trucks and components.
• Monitor inventory levels of imported units, spare parts, fabrication materials, and accessories.
• Implement quality control procedures throughout the conversion process.
• Conduct final inspections before vehicle turnover.
• Ensure all converted trucks meet customer specifications, company standards, and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with Sales regarding project timelines and customer requirements.
• Assist in resolving customer concerns related to production schedules, delivery, or product quality

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Technology, Operations Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3–5 years of supervisory experience in truck manufacturing, vehicle conversion, automotive assembly, heavy equipment, logistics, or a related industry.
• Experience in truck importation, vehicle conversion, fabrication, or commercial vehicle operations is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of production planning, warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics.
• Familiarity with automotive systems, fabrication processes, welding, painting, and vehicle assembly.
• Knowledge of quality management systems and workplace safety standards.
