Operations Supervisor

About the role

The Operations Supervisor is responsible for leading and overseeing day-to-day warehouse and logistics operations, ensuring efficient execution of inbound, outbound, inventory, and transportation activities. The role drives operational excellence through effective resource planning, performance management, data analysis, customer engagement, and continuous improvement initiatives. The Operations Supervisor ensures that operational performance, safety, quality, and service delivery standards are consistently achieved while providing insightful reporting and recommendations to management and customers.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end warehouse and logistics operations, ensuring efficient execution of inbound, outbound, inventory, transportation, and customer service activities.
• Drive operational performance by monitoring KPIs, analyzing trends, identifying gaps, and implementing corrective and preventive actions to achieve business objectives.
• Ensure inventory accuracy and integrity through effective inventory control, stock reconciliation, cycle counts, and system transaction monitoring.
• Lead operational planning, resource allocation, and workforce management to optimize productivity, cost efficiency, and service levels.
• Prepare, analyze, and present operational performance reports, business reviews, and improvement recommendations to management and customers.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and key stakeholders, ensuring timely resolution of operational issues and alignment with customer requirements.
• Champion continuous improvement initiatives by leveraging operational data, process reviews, and best practices to enhance efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, regulatory requirements, and Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) programs.
• Lead, coach, and develop team members to foster a high-performance culture focused on accountability, collaboration, and operational excellence.

About you

• Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of supervisory experience in warehouse, logistics, transportation, or supply chain operations.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, transportation planning, and supply chain processes.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and reporting tools; experience with SAP, Oracle, WMS, Power BI, or similar systems is highly preferred.
• Strong data analysis and reporting capabilities, with the ability to interpret operational data, identify trends, develop insights, and support data-driven decision-making.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills, with the ability to confidently present operational performance, business reviews, and recommendations to customers, senior management, and stakeholders.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with a results-oriented approach.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced operational environment.
• Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across functions.
• High level of attention to detail, accountability, and commitment to operational excellence.
