Operations Supervisor

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise operator activities, including attendance monitoring, certification tracking, and shift scheduling.
• Manage customer orders and develop operational plans to ensure timely fulfillment of shipment requirements.
• Coordinate with Maintenance and Process Engineering teams to provide timely technical support and resolve production and quality issues in line with operational targets.
• Collaborate with Process Engineering, Quality Engineering, Supply Chain, Maintenance, and Facilities teams to ensure compliance with Quality Management System (QMS), Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS), and International Automotive Task Force (IATF) requirements.
• Identify, select, and control special characteristics in accordance with applicable quality requirements.
• Establish and monitor quality objectives and ensure completion of required training programs.
• Implement and monitor corrective and preventive actions to address operational and quality issues.
• Conduct capacity analysis and support capacity planning to optimize production resources.
• Manage customer portals and ensure compliance with customer-specific requirements.
• Lead initiatives focused on customer satisfaction, operational excellence, continuous improvement, and production efficiency.

Job Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, or a related Engineering discipline.

Related Experience

• At least five (5) years of relevant experience in the semiconductor or electronics manufacturing industry.
• Experience in a supervisory or leadership role is highly preferred.

Certification / License

• Relevant professional certifications or engineering licenses are an advantage.

Skills and Competencies

• Hands-on experience in backgrinding, wafer sawing, and singulation processes.
• Above-average proficiency in computer applications and manufacturing systems.
• Strong people management, leadership, and team development skills.
• Excellent analytical, critical-thinking, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Working knowledge of Statistical Process Control (SPC), Design of Experiments (DOE), Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), and Total Cost Management (TCM).
• Familiarity with automotive core tools, including Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP), Production Part Approval Process (PPAP), and Measurement System Analysis (MSA).
• Basic working knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS), Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) standards, IATF requirements, and customer-specific requirements (CSRs).
