Operations Supervisor – Contiki (Bangkok)

Contiki is looking for an Operations Supervisor to join our Bangkok office and help lead the efficient operation of our Thai tours. This is a full-time, office-based role working five days a week, including one weekend shift.

This role goes a step further than our Operations Coordinator position – you'll be leading and supporting our Trip Managers on the ground, so tourism industry experience is a big advantage. What you'll be doing

• Liaising with suppliers and the Operations Team on trip operations, updates, and day-to-day support
• Compiling and sending pre-trip communication for third-party operated product
• Using Salesforce to manage pre-, post-, and on-trip reporting and communication
• Supporting the preparation and ongoing improvement of the Trip Manager Operations Manual, Day-by-Day itineraries, SOPs, and operational policies
• Updating traveller-facing content, including website information and Guest Docs, to reflect operational changes
• Monitoring Trip Manager on-road costs and feeding back trends or variances to the Operations Manager
• Providing daily support to on-ground Trip Managers, including being on call for emergencies
• Supporting communication platforms between Trip Managers and internal teams
• Assisting with tour pack preparation and delivery from the Asia office
• Running regular briefs and debriefs with Trip Managers to ensure quality product delivery
• Managing trip paperwork, including Trip Manager reports and trip data recording
• Enacting Trip Manager disciplinary action where required, in line with delivery guidelines
• Supporting recruitment, onboarding, training, and development of Trip Managers
• Conducting bi-annual one-on-ones with Trip Managers for coaching and performance feedback
• Processing tour accounts and maintaining transaction records

What you'll bring

• Right to work in Thailand
• Full professional proficiency in English (B2 or above) – written and verbal
• Strong tourism or coach touring experience
• Working knowledge of tour operations systems (or similar)
• Understanding of the Contiki brand and clientele
• Awareness of the Asia tourism industry
• Strong administrative skills with excellent attention to detail
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office; Airtable experience a plus
• Basic understanding of accounting practices
• Availability for occasional international travel
