Operations Supervisor

Key Responsibilities

• Develop store opening schedules, coordinate the full launch progress of new stores, track renovation timelines, cross-department handovers, business license application and other procedures to ensure all preparations are completed prior to the scheduled opening date.
• Serve as the primary liaison with franchisees, oversee recruitment of store managers and frontline staff, and deliver intensive training covering brand culture, standard operating procedures (SOP), service etiquette and POS cashier systems to ensure consistent service standards across all store teams.
• Conduct local market and surveys, design grand opening marketing campaigns including social media promotion, local search optimisation and limited-time offers to build brand awareness and drive foot traffic.
• Be on-site during trial operation to provide on-site support and identify operational gaps such as customer flow layout and emergency response protocols; hand over full store management to franchisees only after stable daily operation is achieved.
• Monitor and analyse comprehensive sales data of all stores within the assigned territory, including customer footfall, average transaction value and sell-out rate of best-selling items. Formulate performance improvement plans with underperforming store franchisees or managers to drive sales growth.
• Oversee merchandise ordering volume for all outlets and implement strict inventory control to minimise product wastage rate.
• Coach and assess management capabilities of all store managers, host regular regional operation meetings, and train frontline supervisors on upselling strategies and customer conflict resolution skills.
• Roll out headquarters marketing campaigns and seasonal visual merchandising guidelines to all stores; collect market feedback and customer complaint trends from frontline outlets and report to the Operations Manager.
• Conduct regular store visits across the assigned territory, implement standard audit checklists to ensure consistent compliance with corporate requirements on service quality, store hygiene and display standards.
• Optimise manpower allocation flexibly to control labour costs and boost overall operational efficiency.

Job Requirements

• Diploma or above; minimum 4 years working experience in retail or FMCG industry, with at least 1–2 years proven experience managing multiple stores / counters concurrently, or working as Regional Assistant Supervisor / Senior Store Manager.
• Strong data analytics proficiency; advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) or Power BI for regional sales report analysis.
• Excellent cross-department communication and negotiation skills, capable of motivating store management and frontline teams.
• Fluent spoken Cantonese and Mandarin; able to draft clear regional operation and store audit reports.
• Adaptable to frequent travel between different outlets, with strong stress tolerance and emergency handling capabilities.
