Operations Supervisor

Shift you are responsible for: 2nd Shift, which is Monday - Friday 2:00PM - 10:30PM.

Running a shift is one thing. Running a shift where your decisions on personnel, safety, and productivity shape what happens on the floor every single night is something more.

How would you like to be the person 2nd shift depends on? The one who keeps production on pace, paperwork accurate, and people accountable, while setting the next day up to succeed?

At Mohawk Lifts, this isn't a hands-off supervisory role where you sit in an office and file reports. You'll be on the production floor: building work assignments, training and developing employees, executing on leadership's direction, and making sure both shifts hand off cleanly, accurately, and on time.

This is a role for someone who has already led people and owns it. Someone who has made the hard calls on staffing and firing disciplinary actions. Someone who is ready to be fully accountable for a shift's results from day one.

• Lead and develop a team of operation employees

• Bridge 2nd and 1st shift operations, including shipping, receiving, and inventory movements

What You Bring

• 5+ years of supervisory experience, including experience making hiring and firing decisions
• 5+ years working in a manufacturing environment
• 3+ years of experience working with ERP systems
• Working knowledge of inventory management
• Ability to read a blueprint
• A track record of full people leadership — training, coaching, performance management, and holding people accountable to standards

Nice To Have (Not Required)

• Experience in a Skills Development System environment
• Experience in a welding environment
• 4-year college degree
• Certified forklift driver
