Operations Supervisor

As a highly regarded and successful regional transport company, Kane Transport is seeking an experienced Operations Supervisor to join our team on a full time basis.

This highly challenging but rewarding position will see the successful applicant lead a team of up to 20 drivers and liaise closely with our customers.

In addition, day to day responsibilities will include:

• Coordinating and scheduling drivers daily runs and weekly work schedules.
• Deliver driver debriefs, OHS reporting and incident management.
• Assist with the coordination of compliance measures including mass and fatigue management along with vehicle maintenance.
• Lead high level customer service within the team.
• Assist with recruitment, training and overall management of drivers with a focus on continuous improvement.
• Manage warehouse stock movements.
• General administrative duties as required.

• Experience in an operations management or scheduling role.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently and manage many competing priorities.
• Be a clear and strong communicator with an ability to accurately forecast workloads.
• Strong problem solving ability.
• Commitment to safety, quality and customer satisfaction.
• Show diligence and accuracy in work.
• Intermediate Outlook, Excel and Word experience.
• Willingness to respond to internal and external stakeholders calls out of hours as required.
