Operations Supervisor

Minimum Qualifications and Requirements:

1. Education: Graduate of BS Mechanical Engineering; licensed M.E.
2. Experience: Minimum of 2 years work experience in operations of thermal oxidation process (pyrolysis) plants, thermal oxidizers, incinerators, boilers or similar thermal processing facilities; Hands-on experience in plant commissioning, trouble shooting, and process control
3. Skills and Competencies:

• Strong technical knowledge of thermodynamics, combustion system, and heat transfer equipment
• Excellent documentation, technical writing, and report preparation skills
• Familiarity with DENR-EMB emission standards. ECC conditions, and DOLE OSH standards
• Proficient in MS Office and process monitoring systems
• Strong supervisorial leadership skills, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work on shifting schedules and responds to plant emergencies
• Capable of conducting plant inspection in high temperature environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for planning, directing, and overseeing daily operations of the pyrolysis
• Ensure equipment treatment processes, and facilities are running safely and efficiently
• Ensure strict compliance with RA 6969, DENR DAO 2022-22. DOLE OSH Standards
• Conduct toolbox meetings, safety briefings, emergency drills, ensure proper use of PPE
• Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly operations reports
