Job Title: Operations Supervisor

Employment Type: Full-Time (includes at least 1 weekend day + holidays)

Available Shifts:

• Shift will Vary and will be discussed further during the interview. This position should expect to work some monring shifts nd some midday shifts. Weekends are a requirement.

USA Guided Tours LLC was founded in 2013 and is the top-rated sightseeing / transportation service provider in the National Capital Region. Our services, range from public and private sightseeing tours, to multi-forms of transportation.

USAGT is in search of a Operations Supervisor for our Falls Church, VA office. Candidate must be highly organized, motivated, and have exceptional people skills.

Main Goal: To manage the daily operations. Ensuring all gaps are filled and all staff memebrs are performing their daily tasks. Experience in the tourism business is a MAJOR PLUS. Transportation experience is preferred.

Duties/Responsibilities

• Ensure fleet operations are completed and running efficiently
• Make decisions based on reservations and availability
• Review shift summary reports and provide information to Office and Fleet Manager
• Contact bus companies and create P.O.’s for rentals as needed
• Assign drivers and tour guides to specific tours
• Check systems, etc., prepare manifest and supplies to take to meeting point
• Meet guests in Washington, DC (in company vehicle) - set up for guest arrival, organize lines, check people in, collect payments (as needed)
• Ensure tours leave on time
• Maintain communication with drivers, tour, guides, etc. prior to and up to guest check-in
• Train all new staff members
• Supervise both mornign and evenings shifts and productivity
• Ensure the daily operations are running smooth and efficiently
• Advise Operations Manager of challenges / issues prior to tour departure
• Complete Summary Reports and document issues (if any)
• Coordinate / handle logistics for the next shift's tours
• Supervise approximately 15 staff members
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements - Must:

• Valid driver’s license
• At least 2 years of supervising at least 10 people.
• Knowledge of Microsoft OS and applications
• have strong/proven leadership skills
• have an extreme attention to details
• have proficient Microsoft Office skills
• have ability to manage large groups / project voice for crowd control
• have excellent verbal and written communication skills
• have accurate data entry / typing skills
• have customer service experience with knowledge of Washington, DC
• be able to solve and analyze problems
• be fluent in English
• be able to work in a fast-paced environment - calmly, with composure
• High school diploma or equivalent Some College PREFERRED
• Knowledge of customer service principles and practices
• Organizational skills
• Attention to detail
• Team Player
• Works well under pressure

PREFERRED

• Associates Degree or Some College
• Experience in the tourism or hospitality fields
• Knowledge of DC roads
• Paycor software experience

Job Type: Full-time
