OPERATIONS SUPERVISOR

Location: Gbagada Phase 1, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-Time
Salary: ₦200,000 – ₦250,000 Monthly
Work Schedule: One Day On, One Day Off (15 working days per month)

About the Role

Smokey Jollof is seeking an experienced and responsible Operations Supervisor to oversee daily restaurant operations, supervise staff, maintain service standards, and ensure smooth and efficient business operations.

The ideal candidate should have previous supervisory or management experience in a restaurant, fast-food, or hospitality environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily restaurant operations and ensure smooth service delivery.
• Manage and monitor staff performance, attendance, and productivity.
• Ensure excellent customer service and promptly resolve customer complaints.
• Monitor food quality, hygiene, cleanliness, and safety standards.
• Ensure proper handling of cash, stock, equipment, and other company resources.
• Monitor inventory and report shortages or operational issues.
• Coordinate staff duties and ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
• Prepare daily operational reports and provide updates to management.
• Support the team in achieving sales and operational targets.
• Ensure the restaurant is properly opened and closed according to company procedures.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in a Supervisor or higher role within a restaurant, fast-food, or hospitality business.
• Candidates with experience from Smokey Jollof are highly prioritised.
• Experience from reputable restaurant/fast-food brands such as Chicken Republic, Sweet Sensation, The Place, Bukka Hut, Mega Chicken, Mama Cass, KFC, or similar establishments will also be considered.
• Strong leadership, communication, and people-management skills.
• Good knowledge of restaurant operations and customer service.
• Ability to work independently and take responsibility for daily operations.
• Must be organised, proactive, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
