About the role

We are seeking an Operations Supervisor to join our team at our facility in Alabang, Muntinlupa City, Metro Manila. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in overseeing daily operations and ensuring optimal scheduling, planning and post-operations reporting on various terminals or worksites.

Key responsibilities

• Deploys competent inspectors from the team or may coordinate with other Team Leaders whose team member is competent to attend the inspection.
• Monitors vessel arrival/Inspection schedule.
• Facilitates Tool Box Meetings with the attending inspectors prior to the set inspection schedule or vessel arrival.
• Prepares deployment schedules and or shifting schedules for deployed sub teams.
• Real time operations monitoring, troubleshooting and decision-making.
• Ensures inspectors are following set Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for each site.
• Ensures timeliness of submission of inspection updates to the respective Execution Coordinator.
• Ensures timeliness of submission of field inspection reports to the Execution Team.
• Provides coaching for assessments and development of each individual in the team.
• Prepare regular reports, perform audit on various operations and evaluate processes as per business requirements.

What we're looking for

• Graduate of Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Petroleum Engineering, Marine Transportation and allied courses.

• International experience in the field of inspection, or trade/commerce field operations industry is plus but not required.

• Five (5) years of experience in field operations and documentary processes in the field of petroleum, minerals or agricultural commodity inspection, is an advantage.

• People handling and management experience in the same capacity or role.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a diverse team

• Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities

• Strong problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills in fast-paced environments

• Understanding of workplace health, safety, and quality standards

• Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies is an advantage
