Operations Supervisor

MBM Logistics, LLC – DHL Express Independent Service Partner

MBM Logistics, LLC is seeking a dependable, organized, and hands-on Operations Supervisor to help lead our daily pickup and delivery operations.

This role has a strong focus on fleet oversight, driver accountability, service performance, and daily operational execution. The ideal candidate is comfortable working both in the office and in the field, solving problems quickly, and taking ownership without needing constant direction.

Position Details

• Full-Time
• Salary: $55,000–$70,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications
• Monday–Friday, with flexibility based on operational needs
• Occasional early mornings, evenings, weekends, or peak-season support may be required
• Local travel to company meetpoints as needed, generally up to two times per week
• Weekly pay every Tuesday

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily delivery operations, staffing, attendance, route coverage, and service performance
• Maintain strong oversight of the company vehicle fleet, including maintenance, repairs, inspections, cleanliness, damage, documentation, and vehicle availability
• Conduct regular vehicle inspections and ensure outstanding fleet issues are followed through to completion
• Travel to company meetpoints to review operations, vehicles, employees, and performance
• Hold drivers accountable for attendance, productivity, safety, service quality, timekeeping, and proper care of company equipment
• Respond to call-outs, vehicle breakdowns, service failures, and other operational issues
• Review performance reports and identify recurring driver, route, fleet, or service problems
• Coach and develop employees while administering corrective action when necessary
• Support staffing, scheduling, onboarding, and training
• Promote a strong culture of safety, accountability, professionalism, and service
• Communicate operational concerns and updates clearly with management and DHL representatives when required

Qualifications

• Previous supervisory or management experience preferred
• Transportation, logistics, delivery, fleet, or operations experience strongly preferred
• Experience supervising drivers or hourly employees is a plus
• Fleet management or commercial vehicle experience highly desirable
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
• Reliable transportation
• Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Comfortable working with computers, spreadsheets, reports, and operational data
• Ability to make decisions independently and take ownership of assigned responsibilities
• Ability to travel locally between operating locations as needed
• Schedule flexibility based on operational requirements
