Operations Supervisor

Middle East Mattress Factory Co. (licencee of Sealy Inc. USA ) is seeking a results-driven Production / Operations Supervisor to oversee daily manufacturing workflows at our plant in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. This role is vital for maintaining high quality, safety standards, and peak manufacturing efficiency across our premium bedding lines.

Job Summary

The Operations Supervisor will manage day-to-day manufacturing floor operations, coordinate multi-cultural production crews, and leverage ERP infrastructure to hit daily targets. The ideal candidate brings an engineering mindset, strong leadership capabilities, and specialized experience in manufacturing systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Floor Supervision: Coordinate, assign daily shifts, and monitor technicians and line operators to safely achieve production quotas.
• Workflow Optimization: Manage operational directives on the floor to maximize machinery output (e.g., automated sewing, pocket spring lines, tape-edge machines).
• System Tracking: Utilize Odoo ERP (Manufacturing and Inventory modules) to trace materials, process logs, and track shift performance metrics.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate with maintenance, procurement, and logistics teams to mitigate raw material shortages and plan scheduled downtime.
• Quality & Safety Assurance: Uphold stringent safety protocols and corporate quality benchmarks across all production lines.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Education: Minimum Bachelor s Degree (preferably in Industrial, Mechanical, or Production Engineering).
• Experience: Minimum 5 years of hands-on supervisory experience in a manufacturing plant environment (bedding, mattress, or specialized high-volume textile production preferred).
• ERP & Technical Skills: Operational proficiency using Odoo ERP software modules along with strong mechanical/industrial problem-solving capabilities.
• Language Skills: Professional fluency in written and spoken English is strictly required to lead a diverse workforce. Conversational command of Arabic or Hindi is a strong advantage for floor communication.

• Location: Must currently reside in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia (On-Site role).
• Target Nationalities: Open exclusively to Saudi, Yemeni, or Indian nationals.
