Operations Support Engineer L1 - L2

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and support production applications and infrastructure.
• Perform L1 troubleshooting, incident analysis, and issue resolution.
• Work on Unix/Linux servers and execute basic Linux commands.
• Support Oracle database activities and basic SQL troubleshooting.
• Monitor and troubleshoot Apache Tomcat servers and application logs.
• Perform API testing using SOAP UI and Postman.
• Validate and troubleshoot REST APIs and web services.
• Monitor applications using AppDynamics, Dynatrace, Kibana, and Grafana.
• Coordinate with L2/L3 teams for critical issue resolution.
• Maintain operational documentation and adhere to SLA timelines.

Technical Skills

• Unix/Linux commands and troubleshooting
• Oracle Database basics and SQL knowledge
• Apache Tomcat support knowledge
• SOAP UI, Postman, and REST API testing
• Basic Java knowledge
• Monitoring tools: AppDynamics, Dynatrace, Kibana, Grafana

Preferred

• Exposure to ITIL/support processes
• Experience with ticketing tools like ServiceNow/JIRA
• Basic scripting knowledge, alerting and automation is an added advantage

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/IT or related field

Soft Skills

• Good analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work in rotational shifts and support environments
