Operations Support Staff (All-Rounder)

About the Role

As an Operations Support Staff member, you will rotate between departments and assist with:

• Laundry services, including washing, drying, folding, and distributing linen and residents' clothing.
• Cleaning resident rooms and communal areas to maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment.
• Catering duties, including meal preparation support, serving meals, dishwashing, and maintaining food safety standards.
• Following infection prevention and control procedures.
• Working collaboratively with all departments to ensure excellent resident care and service.

Shift Times

• Cleaning 7:00am – 2:00pm
• Dining Room 7:00am - 1.30pm and 1.00pm to 7pm
• Kitchen Assistant 6.00am - 1.00pm
• Shifts will be rostered across weekdays, weekends, and public holidays as required.

About You

You will have:

• A positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• A willingness to work across Laundry, Cleaning, and Catering.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
• Good time management and attention to detail.
• A genuine commitment to providing quality service to older people.
• Need To Have Police Check or willingness to obtain before commencement of work.

Desirable

• Previous experience in aged care, hospitality, cleaning, or commercial laundry.
• Knowledge of infection control and workplace health and safety practices.
• Food Safety Certificate (or willingness to obtain one).
