OPERATIONS TEAM LEADER

The Cold Storage Operations Team Leader is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the cold storage facility to ensure the safe, efficient, and accurate handling of frozen and chilled products. This role supervises warehouse personnel, maintains compliance with cold chain standards and safety regulations, ensures inventory accuracy, and coordinates receiving, storage, and withdrawal activities. The position also monitors temperature control throughout storage and distribution processes, prepares operational reports, coordinates with regulatory agencies, and implements warehouse best practices to achieve productivity, quality, and customer service objectives.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two (2) years of experience supervising or leading personnel in a cold storage warehouse environment.
• Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and customer service skills.
• Hands-on experience in cold storage operations, with thorough knowledge of handling frozen and chilled products.
• Well-versed in cold chain management processes, including temperature monitoring and control, receiving, withdrawal, storage procedures, and safety compliance.
• Familiarity with government regulatory agencies such as NMIS, BFAR, FDA (formerly BFAD), and BOC.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) with basic mathematical and analytical skills.
• Knowledgeable in inventory management and the preparation of daily operational reports.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure, maintain composure in challenging situations, and remain focused on operational objectives.
• Demonstrates integrity, professionalism, accountability, and the ability to perform duties with minimal supervision while meeting deadlines.
• Graduate of any Bachelor's Degree program or has completed at least two (2) years of college education in any discipline.
