Job Title: House Manager

Location: Lekki, Lagos (Full-time, on-site)

Reports To: Founder / Managing Director

Role Purpose

Take ownership of the daily running of the business, translating the founder's vision into consistent daily practice across its spaces, kitchen, bar, shelf, and programmes. Coordinate the team, keep the house ready, and independently resolve routine matters to ensure reliable operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Daily Operations: Manage opening/closing routines, maintain space readiness (lighting, music, Wi-Fi, equipment), coordinate vendors/maintenance, and uphold safety/hygiene standards.
• Guest Experience: Welcome members and guests, oversee reservations and access control, build relationships with regulars, and handle feedback sensitively.
• Team Supervision: Coordinate staff and casual workers, prepare rosters, conduct pre-service briefings, train on hospitality standards, and oversee performance.
• Kitchen, Bar & Shelf: Oversee service quality, monitor stock control/wastage, track inventory records, and coordinate suppliers within approved budgets.
• Programmes & Events: Lead on-site delivery of conversations, workshops, and private bookings in coordination with the remote Programmes Coordinator.
• Financial Control: Reconcile daily cash, POS, and transfers, track operating expenses, and submit concise weekly reports.
• Commercial Development: Handle initial private booking and venue-hire enquiries using approved rates.

Who We Are Looking For

• Experience: Preferably 3–5 years in hospitality or venue operations, including team supervision.
• Skills: Proficient in managing service, stock, suppliers, daily financial reconciliation, spreadsheets, POS systems, and booking platforms.
• Attributes: Warm, observant, highly organized, dependable, and comfortable working evenings and weekends.
• Interests: An affinity for arts, music, design, and community.

Pay: ₦300,000.00 per month
