Operator (Two Position Open In the City of Los Angeles)

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Candidate must have at least 3-years' experience as a wastewater treatment plant operator with the Ozone treatment experience being a bonus

REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS: California Grade I Wastewater Operator (Or Higher) Or Collections-I Wastewater license (Or Higher)

Job responsibilities for this position are as follows: Conduct operational tasks at stormwater treatment plants. Operating and monitoring the treatment plant process equipment, such as: pumps, motors, blowers, mixers, mechanical screens etc.

Required qualifications include: High School Diploma or GED, at least 3-years experience working as a treatment operator, California drivers license with clean record, able to operate all treatment equipment, interpret field and analytical test results, effectively communicate and demonstrate mathematical competence, mechanical ability, problem solving and good communication skills.

Expected hours: Estimated 40 to 52 hours per week depending on the shift (12-hour shifts), including overtime, with work on weekends, with both day and night shifts available.

Work Location: The work would occur at two stormwater facilities in the City of Los Angeles.

Job Type: Full-time/Temporary

Pay: $30.00 per hour

Pay: $77,220.00 - $99,840.00 per year
