Operator

We are seeking a motivated Production Operator to operate manufacturing equipment, deliver production targets, perform quality inspections, and support troubleshooting activities. This role offers the opportunity to work with modern manufacturing processes, develop technical skills, and contribute to operational excellence.

Job Responsibilities:

The Downstream Production Operator is responsible for the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of downstream packaging equipment, ensuring finished products are conveyed, handled, palletized, wrapped, and transferred according to production, quality, and safety requirements. On a daily basis, the operator will:

• Operate and monitor downstream equipment including Tetra Pak conveyors, SIG conveyors, Meurer packaging systems, PSS robots, trolley systems, pallet wrapping machines, and material handling conveyors.
• Ensure smooth product flow from filling lines to palletizing and warehouse transfer points.
• Perform equipment start-up, shutdown, product changeovers, and line clearance activities.
• Monitor equipment performance and promptly respond to alarms, jams, stoppages, and process abnormalities.
• Carry out first-line troubleshooting and basic autonomous maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Conduct routine inspections to ensure equipment operates safely and efficiently.
• Escalate technical issues to Engineering and Maintenance teams when required.
• Complete operational records, downtime reporting, and production documentation accurately.
• Support housekeeping, GMP, food safety, and 5S activities within the production area.
• Participate in continuous improvement activities focused on OEE, productivity, waste reduction, and equipment reliability.

Job Requirements:

• Diploma or relevant certificate.
• At least 2 to 5 years of relevant experience, with exposure to downstream equipment.
• Familiar with ABB robot will be good.
• Ability to communicate and read basic English.
• Able to travel to work at Bandar Enstek, Negeri Sembilan.
