What they need
- Operate and monitor the 8-color Heidelberg sheetfed offset printing press to meet production targets and quality standards.
- Perform machine set up, including plate mounting, ink preparation, paper loading, feeder adjustment, and press calibration
- Ensure accurate color matching, registration, ink density, and print quality throughout the production run.
- Read and interpret job tickets, printing specifications, artwork, and color proof samples.
- Conduct first-sheet approval and regular quality checks during production.
- Adjust ink and water balance, impression setting, feeder, and delivery systems as required.
- Troubleshoot printing defects, machine malfunctions, and production issues.
- Minimize paper wastage, ink consumption, and unnecessary machine downtime.
- Perform routine cleaning, lubrication, and preventive maintenance of the press.
- Follow workplace safety procedure and maitain a clean and organized work area.
- Record production output, material usage, downtime, and job completion details
