What they need
- Perform lifting, shifting, and transportation of heavy materials across plant locations and departments.
- Handle slag-related operations including lifting and dumping slag bins and managing overflow materials.
- Transport various types of skulls (tundish, ladle, pot) and ensure proper weighing and record handling.
- Support shutdown activities by lifting and moving bins and other materials as required.
- Transfer materials such as pallets, waste wood, empty drums, and items from store as needed.
- Conduct daily inspection of forklift equipment and report any faults or abnormalities.
- Follow all safety rules, SOPs, HS&E policies, and ensure proper use and maintenance of PPE.
- Provide regular support to multiple departments (MMD, EMD, CMD, Refractory, CCM, Safety, Utility) for material handling needs.
