Operator / Labourer

About the role

We’re looking for an Operator / Labourer to join our client at the airport.

This isn’t your typical machine operator role. You’ll be operating front-end loaders, compactors and bulldozers when required, but you’ll also be getting stuck in with the crew on the ground, carrying out heavy lifting, labouring and general site duties.

We’re looking for someone who is hands-on, reliable and not afraid to get stuck in. You’ll need to be comfortable jumping between operating machinery and physical labour depending on what the job requires.

What you'll be doing

• Operating front end loaders, bulldozers & compactors to safely transport and distribute materials around site

• Jumping off the machine to assist with heavy labouring tasks when needed

• Perform physically demanding tasks including digging, lifting, and shifting materials

• Perform regular vehicle checks and report any issues or concerns to the maintenance team.

What we’re looking for

• Need to have WTR on license & a full class 1.

• Experience operating civil machinery

• Perform physically demanding tasks including digging, lifting, and shifting materials
