Operator Level 1 - Reclaim

Job Overview:

As a Reclaim Apprentice, you’ll support the reclaim process across all transmission families by learning the basics of core reclaim skills. You work under supervision and contribute to daily tasks such as part-cleaning, teardown, and moving materials between workstations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Dismantle used components with hand and power tools.
• Prep parts for inspection using washers, chemicals, and manual methods.
• Move materials efficiently between workstations.
• Assist with sorting, tagging, and counting parts.
• Follow instructions and standard work under direct supervision.
• Maintain a safe and clean work area.
• Develop hands-on mechanical skills and process knowledge.
• Seek help and ask questions to build expertise.
• Support team goals and demonstrate ETE Core Values.

This position may be located in the “administrative section” of a manufacturing facility.  You will be exposed to a variety of smells due to the manufacturing process.  You will also exposed to moderate noise coming from the manufacturing area.  Eye protection and steel toed footwear is required if you go on the manufacturing floor.
