Operator Level I / 3rd Shift (Eject and Test)

The Impact You'll Make We have an immediate opportunity for a 3rd Shift Production Operator to join us at our diverse team in Mountain Home, Arkansas. The 3rd Shift Production Operator operates production equipment to manufacture hydraulic hoses and has five main components. The job reports to the shift Manufacturing Supervisor.

This is a 3rd Shift position.

What You’ll Be Doing Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following.

• Stencil & Inspect: Operates the stencil machine to put the appropriate model and lot number on the hose and inspects it for any defects during this process.
• Finishing (Cut/Coil & Eject/Test): Ejects mandrel from the hose by using water pressure, and proof tests hose to make sure that it meets specifications. Cuts the hose at the appropriate place on the reel and coils the hose to prepare it for shipping.
• Mandrel Prep (Rubber & Grilon): Prepares rubber and/or grilon mandrel for the rubber to be shaped around during the extrusion process.
• Wire Winder: Prepares customer supplied wire on bobbins for use in the braid process.
• Wrap/Unwrap: Wraps/Unwraps the extruded hose in preparation for the curing process.

What We're Looking For The ideal candidate possesses these skills.

• High School Diploma or GED One year or more manufacturing experience preferred.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work successfully in team environment.
• In addition to machine operations, maintains a safe, clean and orderly work environment through effective housekeeping, 5S and TPM practices. Job performance measures include safety, quality, inventory, on time delivery and productivity
