Operator ( Ointment Machine)

Job Summary

We are looking for our client an experienced and skilled Ointment Machine Operator to join our pharmaceutical manufacturing team at Kala Amb, Haryana. The candidate will be responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining ointment manufacturing and filling machines while ensuring production targets, quality standards, and GMP requirements are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor ointment manufacturing and filling machines as per approved SOPs and batch manufacturing instructions.
• Set up machines and equipment according to production requirements.
• Perform machine changeovers, cleaning, and basic troubleshooting as required.
• Ensure proper handling of raw materials and bulk ointment during the manufacturing and filling process.
• Monitor machine parameters and production operations to ensure consistent output.
• Maintain accurate production records, equipment logbooks, and batch documentation.
• Follow GMP, SOPs, safety procedures, and Good Documentation Practices (GDP) at all times.
• Coordinate with Production, QA, QC, and Maintenance departments for smooth production operations.
• Identify and report machine breakdowns, abnormalities, or process deviations to the concerned supervisor.
• Ensure proper cleaning and line clearance of machines and production areas.
• Minimize material wastage and maintain optimum machine efficiency.
• Assist the maintenance team during preventive maintenance and troubleshooting activities.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the production area as per pharmaceutical standards.
• Achieve daily production targets while maintaining required quality and safety standards.

Required Skills

• Hands-on experience in operating ointment manufacturing/filling machines in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.
• Good knowledge of machine operation, cleaning, changeover, and basic troubleshooting.
• Understanding of GMP, SOPs, BMR/BPR, and documentation practices.
• Ability to identify operational issues and coordinate for timely resolution.
• Good discipline, attention to detail, and safety awareness.
• Ability to work in shifts and meet production targets.

Eligibility

• Qualification: 10+2 / ITI
• Experience: 6–8 years of relevant experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing, particularly in ointment manufacturing or filling operations.
• Candidates with hands-on experience with ointment manufacturing and filling equipment will be preferred.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
