OPERATOR (S-Site, Jelapang)

About the role

This position is to carry out production tasks and ensure that they meet the company's objectives in terms of production output, quality and cycle time.

Key responsibilities

• Operate production machines to ensure the process runs correctly and produces desired results. When abnormal conditions occur during production, report to the supervisor.
• Record production documents (Traveller, Track In/Out, SPC), packaging and maintenance to prevent issues and ensure machines are in good condition.
• Inspect finished products for quality control to ensure production output meets established product standards. Report abnormalities for correction or damage prevention.
• Achieve cycle time and production process timing to ensure sufficient output meets delivery responsibilities and customer requirements.
• Report to superiors on daily activities and any matters affecting machines and production output.
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment and follow SOP.
• Stop the production process if any abnormalities are found during production activities.
• Help guide, explain thoroughly and monitor the progress of new workers. Be ready to receive training and latest exposure regarding equipment and production techniques.

About you

• Minimum 1 year experience in electronic production field
• SPM/STPM or SKM qualification
• Basic computer skills
• Problem solving ability
• Concentration and attention to detail
• Ability to work as a team
• Able to follow instructions and production schedules
• Able to act quickly when problems occur
• Good communication skills
• Good teamwork attitude
