REPORTING To: Executive - Tablet & Liquid Manufacturing

ROLE CONTEXT & PURPOSE

As part of a greenfield pharmaceutical manufacturing setup , the Operator - Bottle Filling (Tablet/ Capsule) plays a crucial role in handling the Filling of Tablet/Capsules while ensuring compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and regulatory guidelines . The incumbent is responsible for operating and maintaining Filling line, monitoring production parameters, and ensuring product quality during the packing process.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor tablet/capsule filling line as per SOPs.
• Perform batch filling and labelling as per batch manufacturing records (BMR).
• Monitor temperature, RH and pressure to ensure compliance with formulation standards.
• Maintain batch records, logbooks, and process documentation as per regulatory requirements.
• Conduct in-process quality checks to ensure product consistency and uniformity.
• Work closely with QA, QC, and engineering teams to resolve production issues and deviations.
• Ensure proper cleaning, sanitization, and sterilization of Filling line and equipment.
• Adhere to safety protocols, PPE requirements, and environmental health & safety (EHS) regulations.
• Identify and report any deviations, defects, or equipment malfunctions to the maintenance team.
• Participate in regulatory audits and inspections, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
• Optimize the packing process to enhance efficiency and reduce wastage.

CANDIDATE SPECIFICATION

EXPERIENCE + EXPOSURE + EDUCATION

• Education: High school diploma / ITI / Diploma in Pharmaceutical, Chemical, or related field.
• Experience: Minimum 5 years in packing operations in a pharmaceutical or FMCG industry.

Key Skills

• Hands-on experience with filling line (Filling machine & Checkweigher).
• Strong knowledge of GMP, SOPs, and regulatory compliance in OSD formulation.
• Familiarity with sterile and non-sterile packing processes.
• Basic troubleshooting skills for packing equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy.
