About the role

We are seeking a skilled and professional Operator Telepon to join our customer service team in East Jakarta. This is a full-time position that plays a critical role in representing our company to clients and ensuring every customer interaction reflects our commitment to excellence. As a telephone operator, you will be the first point of contact for many of our clients, making this role essential to our company's reputation and customer satisfaction objectives. You will handle incoming and outgoing calls with professionalism, efficiency, and a strong customer-first attitude.

Key responsibilities

• Answer incoming telephone calls promptly and courteously, directing calls to appropriate departments or personnel
• Provide general information about PT INOVASI BUANA FINANCE products and services to callers
• Take accurate messages and ensure they are delivered to the correct recipients in a timely manner
• Maintain detailed and accurate call logs and records
• Handle customer enquiries and concerns with professionalism, patience, and empathy
• Make outgoing calls when required for appointment scheduling, follow-ups, or customer contact purposes
• Transfer calls efficiently to relevant departments whilst keeping callers informed of the process
• Manage multiple phone lines and prioritise calls appropriately
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to company policies regarding customer information
• Contribute to a positive customer experience through clear communication and problem-solving
• Perform administrative duties as required to support the customer service function

What we're looking for

• Proven experience working as a telephone operator or in a customer-facing call centre role
• Excellent communication skills with clear diction and professional telephone manner
• Strong listening skills and ability to understand customer needs quickly and accurately
• Proficiency in using telephone systems, call management software, and basic computer applications
• Ability to multitask effectively and manage multiple calls simultaneously
• High level of patience, empathy, and emotional intelligence when dealing with customers
• Organisational skills with the ability to manage detailed call records and information accurately
• Fluency in Indonesian and English; additional languages are advantageous
• Ability to work as part of a team and maintain a positive, professional demeanour
• Reliability and punctuality with a strong commitment to attendance
• Customer service orientation with a genuine desire to resolve customer issues
