Operator - Tow Truck

Duties

• Operate tow trucks, including flatbed and/or wheel lift tow trucks, to recover and transport vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Perform basic light duty roadside services (jump start, lockout, etc.)
• Secure vehicles onto tow trucks following cargo securement protocols to prevent damage during transit.
• Conduct safe vehicle loading onto tow trucks, ensuring compliance with safety standards and mechanical procedures.
• Assist with vehicle recovery towing, including accident scenes or breakdowns,
• Manage conflict situations professionally with customers or other stakeholders while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Maintain detailed logs of all towing activities, vehicle conditions, and incident reports as required.
• Support other team members with forklift operation or additional mechanical tasks as needed to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in towing and roadside assistance is highly desirable.
• Valid CA driver license with good driving record
• Outstanding customer service.
• Knowledge of vehicle mechanics specific to truck drivers and car towing operations is a plus.
• Experience operating forklifts is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Demonstrated ability to load & unload vehicles efficiently while adhering to safety standards.

Pay: $18.00 - $26.00 per hour
