About the Role

Our Te Kuiti team is looking for an experienced and motivated Multi-Skilled Plant Operator/Labourer to join our construction team.

This role will primarily involves operating a roller and watercart during the construction and sealing season. Outside of this work, you will support the wider construction and maintenance crew with other machinery operation, general labouring, manual handling, traffic control and day-to-day site activities.

This is not a role where you will operate one machine every day. We are looking for someone flexible and willing to move between different tasks and equipment depending on what the job requires.

 For candidates keen to develop their skills, there will be opportunities to gain experience operating additional machinery and progress within the team.

You will be working alongside an experienced and supportive crew committed to delivering safe, high-quality outcomes for our community.

What We're Looking For:

• Experience operating rollers, Water carts or other civil construction machinery is preferred.
• Full clean class 1 driver licence
• A current Wheels, Tracks and Rollers (WTR) licence is preferred.
• An understanding of road construction or road maintenance is an advantage.
• A strong commitment to Health & Safety.
• Reliable, hardworking, and able to work well both independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to undertake a variety of tasks, including manual labour and traffic control.
• An understanding of road construction or road maintenance is an advantage.
• A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn to operate additional machinery as opportunities arise.
