Ophthalmic Technician/Optometry Technician

Busy ophthalmology practice in Honolulu, Hawaii is seeking a hardworking, friendly and motivated ophthalmic technician. This is an excellent opportunity to join a superior, cutting-edge practice and work in a supportive and stimulating environment.

Tasks include obtaining ocular, medical, and family history; measuring visual acuity; manifest refractometry; motility and pupil testing; measuring intraocular pressure by applanation tonometr; instilling ocular medications; instructing patients regarding medications, tests, and procedures; and coordinating patient flow. Specific skills include contact lens fitting, automated Humphry Visual Fields, OCT, Immersion A scans, IOL Master. Prior ophthalmology or optometry experience is ideal, however, we are willing to train the right individual
