We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Ophthalmologist to join our dynamic healthcare team. Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough eye examinations, utilizing medical terminology and physiology knowledge to diagnose a wide range of ocular conditions.
• Perform ophthalmic surgical procedures such as cataract removal, glaucoma management, and neuro-ophthalmic disorder treatments with precision and aseptic technique.
• Manage complex cases involving pediatric patients, senior care, or acute care scenarios, ensuring tailored treatment plans that meet individual needs.
• Lead or participate in clinical research and clinical trials to advance ophthalmology practices and improve patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate medical records and manage electronic health records (EHR) systems such as Epic or EMR systems, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide diagnosis and treatment for neuro-ophthalmic disorders, glaucoma, cataracts, and other ocular diseases.
• Monitor vital signs during procedures and ensure adherence to medical coding standards for billing and documentation purposes.

Requirements

• Medical degree with board certification or eligibility in Ophthalmology.
• Post residency experience in ophthalmology with a focus on clinical research or laboratory experience preferred.
• Demonstrated expertise in ophthalmic surgical procedures including cataract surgery, glaucoma management, and neuro-ophthalmic disorder treatment.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and healthcare diagnosis related to eye health.
• Experience managing clinical trials or participating in research laboratories is advantageous.
• Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems such as ECW EMR systems; familiarity with medical coding is a plus.
• Ability to perform aseptic techniques during surgeries and procedures while maintaining patient safety standards.
• Excellent communication skills for patient care discussions and interdisciplinary collaboration.
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality of medical records and patient information.
• Prior experience working with pediatric populations or senior care is desirable; acute care experience is beneficial.

Pay: $560,058.83 - $615,328.91 per year
