Job Description

Carmel Medical Centre is seeking an experienced Ophthalmologist with at least two years of relevant experience to provide quality eye care and support the hospital's ophthalmology department.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive ophthalmic examinations and clinical assessments.
• Diagnose and manage various eye conditions.
• Recommend appropriate treatment plans and follow-up care.
• Perform ophthalmic procedures within the doctor's qualifications and clinical privileges.
• Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation.
• Coordinate with other doctors and healthcare staff.
• Follow hospital protocols and maintain high standards of patient safety.

Requirements

• MBBS with MS/MD/DNB in Ophthalmology or an equivalent recognised postgraduate qualification.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in ophthalmology.
• Valid medical registration.
• Strong diagnostic, clinical and communication skills.
• Commitment to professional ethics and quality patient care.
