Role Purpose

Responsible for identifying, assessing, and managing operational, engineering, process, systems, and financial risks across property management operations, while identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, controls, service quality, and business value.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct process, operational, engineering, systems, and financial risk assessments/audits across managed properties.

Identify control gaps, compliance risks, inefficiencies, cost exposures, and potential business vulnerabilities.

Translate audit and risk findings into actionable improvement and business opportunities.

Develop risk mitigation, process improvement, and corrective action plans with concerned functions.

Review property operations, engineering and all practices, maintenance processes, contracts, expenses, and internal controls for effectiveness and efficiency.

Analyze data, reports, and financial information to identify trends, anomalies, potential losses, and improvement opportunities.

Partner with Property Management, Engineering, Finance, IT, and other functions to strengthen processes and controls.

Monitor closure and effectiveness of corrective actions and improvement initiatives.

Prepare concise Risk & Opportunity Reports for Management, highlighting critical exposures, root causes, recommendations, and potential value impact.

Support continuous improvement, governance, and risk management initiatives across the organization.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Finance, Accounting, Business, Property Management, or related field.

At least 5 years of relevant experience in property management, internal audit, quality assurance, risk management, engineering operations, process improvement, or related fields.

Strong understanding of property operations and engineering processes.

Financially knowledgeable, with the ability to understand budgets, costs, financial reports, and business impact.

Strong analytical, investigative, and problem-solving skills.

Experience in Internal/External Audit - process/system audit, controls, compliance, or Operational Excellence is an advantage.

Excellent report writing, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.

Highly analytical, curious, objective, and solution-oriented.
