Opthalmic Technician

Duties:

• Provide excellent customer service to all patients and visitors
• Assist with retail sales and product recommendations
• Utilize retail math and point-of-sale systems accurately
• Maintain medical records and ensure patient confidentiality
• Assist with medical billing and coding as needed
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure smooth patient flow
• Handle inquiries and resolve issues in a professional and timely manner

Skills:

• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Proficient in using medical coding systems, such as Epic
• Knowledge of medical billing processes and procedures
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
• Attention to detail and accuracy in record keeping
• Excellent organizational skills
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment

Note: Previous experience in a pediatric setting is preferred but not required.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
