Optical Advisor

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Optical Advisor to join our team. Training provided, In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while assisting clients with their optical needs. Your expertise in fashion and retail will be invaluable as you guide customers in selecting the right eyewear solutions tailored to their individual requirements.

Duties

• Welcoming customers warmly and assess their optical needs through effective communication.
• Provide expert advice on eyewear options, including frames, lenses, and contact lenses.
• Assist in the fitting of eyewear and ensure proper adjustments for comfort and functionality.
• Maintain an organised display of products, ensuring that all merchandise is well-presented and stocked.
• Conduct basic laboratory tasks as required, including lens preparation and adjustments.
• Stay informed about the latest trends in eyewear fashion and technology to provide informed recommendations.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure a seamless customer experience throughout the store.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly and professionally.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in an optical or retail environment is preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with a strong focus on customer service.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
• Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in all tasks performed.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts as required by the business.

Pay: £23,880.00-£26,599.00 per year
