We're looking for passionate, customer-focused Optical Assistants to join our flagship team and play an important role in bringing this vision to life.

The Role

As an Optical Assistant at Pretavoir, you'll play a key role in delivering an exceptional luxury retail experience, helping customers discover the perfect eyewear to suit their individual style, lifestyle and optical needs.

This is an exciting, customer-facing opportunity for someone who is passionate about luxury eyewear, enjoys building relationships and takes pride in delivering the highest standards of service.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver an exceptional, personalised customer experience, from initial consultation and styling through to purchase and aftercare.
• Conduct one-to-one eyewear styling consultations, helping customers discover frames that complement their face shape, personal style and lifestyle.
• Provide expert product knowledge and recommendations across our luxury designer and independent eyewear collections.
• Support customers with frame fittings, adjustments and aftercare, ensuring the perfect fit and comfort, with appropriate training.
• Guide customers through lens options and prescription requirements, working alongside qualified optical professionals where appropriate.
• Build lasting customer relationships, encouraging loyalty and repeat visits.
• Contribute to store sales performance and wider commercial objectives.
• Maintain impeccable store presentation and visual merchandising standards.
• Manage customer orders and enquiries efficiently and accurately.
• Work collaboratively with the wider Pretavoir team to deliver a seamless experience across our online and in-store channels.

About You

We're looking for individuals who bring energy, professionalism and a genuine passion for luxury eyewear and exceptional customer service.

Ideally, you'll have:

• Previous experience in optical retail or a luxury retail environment, ideally within fashion, accessories or premium lifestyle brands.
• A passion for eyewear, luxury fashion, independent designers and exceptional craftsmanship.
• A natural flair for styling and the confidence to offer personalised, consultative advice.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with a diverse, international customer base.
• A genuine enjoyment of building customer relationships and delivering memorable, personalised experiences.
• A commercial mindset, with enthusiasm for achieving sales targets.
• Strong attention to detail, professionalism and a proactive approach.

Previous optical experience is advantageous but not essential. We're equally interested in candidates from luxury retail backgrounds who have a genuine passion for eyewear and are excited to develop their optical knowledge and expertise.
