We are looking for someone who not only embodies this professional service, but more importantly is genuine and enjoys helping and spending the time with our loyal members!

Generous starting reumeration and extra incentives for those with a completed Certificate IV in Optical Dispensing!

Daily tasks and responsibilities:

• Assists members with choosing eyeglass frames and lens options appropriate to prescription. Fits and adjusts spectacles, measures heights and pupillary distance for varied lens types and designs and answers questions and addresses problems regarding prescriptions, merchandise, and services
• Processes sales and places special orders to outside suppliers. Stocks department equipment, merchandise, and supplies. Follows department procedures and standards for production, record keeping, merchandising, and merchandise storage.
• Maintain merchandise and department standards.
• Exerts exemplary standards in confidentiality of patient information.
• Follows proper Optical Center, general safety and security procedures, and standards. Assists in other departments of the warehouse as necessary.
• Provides prompt and courteous customer service to members, employees, and suppliers.

The successful applicant will:

• be an excellent team player
• have strong communication skills
• enjoy high attention to detail
• either be currently completing or previously completed Certificate IV in Optical Dispensing highly regarded (extra renumeration incentive for having completed this Cert IV)
• having previous experience in an optical role is very highly regarded
