Optical Dispenser/OpticalAssistant

Visionary Optical is an independent optometry practice in the heart of East Fremantle. We are dedicated to providing exceptional eye care and high-quality frames serving our our community for over 30 years.

We are looking for an experienced optical dispenser to join our tight knit team. This is an opportunity for you to join a practice that values eye health and excellent customer service above all else.

About the Role

As a dispenser your responsibilities will include

• Conducting preliminary testing prior to a patient's eye exam
• Guiding patients through frame selection
• Advising on the best lens options for our patient's unique needs
• Interpreting prescriptions
• Fitting, adjusting and repairing frames
• Providing excellent customer satisfaction
• Admin tasks including taking payments and booking appointments
• Store product preciousness
• Liaising with sales representatives

Essential Criteria

While a formal dispensing qualification would be advantageous, it is not a prerequisite, relevant optical dispensing experience and knowledge are equally valued. Ultimately, we are seeking someone who demonstrates a positive attitude, a strong commitment to their work, and a sincere desire to help others.

Applicants must hold permanent resident status or Australian citizenship.

Full time and part time roles considered.
