Optical Sales Associate

Duties

• Greet customers warmly and identify their needs through active listening and engaging conversation
• Demonstrate product features through compelling product demos to highlight benefits and functionalities
• Assist customers with selecting glasses, providing expert advice catered to their needs and product options
• Conduct upselling by recommending complementary products to maximize customer satisfaction and sales opportunities
• Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for cash handling, transactions, and receipts
• Maintain organized merchandising displays to attract attention and promote featured items
• Manage inventory levels, restock shelves, and ensure products are well-presented for maximum appeal
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions promptly via phone or in person, demonstrating strong communication skills
• Support store organization through effective time management and adherence to store policies

Requirements

• Multilingual abilities or bilingual proficiency are highly desirable to serve diverse customer bases effectively; Bengali or Tagalog language is a plus
• Previous experience in retail sales or optical sales is preferred; customer service experience is a plus
• Ability to communicate confidently and explain best options clearly to customers
• Strong communication skills with excellent phone etiquette and customer service orientation
• Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Basic math skills for providing quotes and to succeed in sales role, POS transactions, and inventory management
• Experience with merchandising, cashiering, or POS systems is advantageous
• A positive attitude with enthusiasm for technology products and helping customers find solutions
• Flexibility to work varied shifts including weekends or evenings as needed

Pay: $17.60-$21.00 per hour
