Contact Lens Specialist / Optometric Tech at Norman / Moore Vision Clinic Team:

In this role, you’ll be the bridge between clinical expertise and top-tier customer service, ensuring our patients feel confident and cared for from the moment they order their lenses to the moment they put them in.

What You’ll Do

As our Contact Lens Specialist, you will support the Contact Lens Manager in a fast-paced, rewarding environment. Your day-to-day will focus on:

• Clinical Patient Care: Teach patients how to safely insert and remove lenses with patience and professionalism. You’ll also educate them on the best lens options and available rebates.
• Order & Inventory Management: Stay on top of patient orders, notify them the moment their lenses arrive, and keep our trial fit sets organized and ready for use.
• Workflow Efficiency: Manage digital records via Eyefinity Practice Management (EPM), verify insurance benefits, and coordinate promotional communications.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with our doctors, technicians, and front desk staff to ensure a seamless flow and maintain our high standard of clinical excellence.
• Assist the Tech Team by completing patient work up, pre-testing, gathering and charting medical history as needed.

Experience Level:

• No prior experience in optics is necessary—we are prepared to train the right candidate!
• Sales/Retail experience is a significant plus.
• Previous optical or optometric experience is a plus and may influence starting wage. ABO or NCLE Certification a plus.
