Optical System Design Intern

Help to design and build a custom optical testing prototype system for a breakthrough medical technology start-up company with a mission to transform minimally invasive surgery for multiple prevalent and underserved disease states. Refine system requirements, create custom design from the ground up, including illumination, wavelength filtering, polarization, image capture, associated software and computer image analysis. Ready the system for bench and preclinical studies to de-risk technology prior to commercial product development.
