Optical Transceiver Product/Test Engineer

We are seeking a meticulous and professional Optical Transceiver product/Test Engineer responsible for the testing, verification, and performance validation of optical communication modules. The candidate will conduct functional testing, performance parameter testing, reliability testing, and defect analysis for optical modules, optimize test schemes, ensure product compliance with industry standards and customer specifications, and support mass production and project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for full-process testing of optical modules (SFP/SFP+/QSFP/OSFP etc.), including optical performance, electrical performance, functional verification, compatibility testing, and high and low temperature reliability testing.
• Analyze test data, judge product performance consistency, locate and classify abnormal test data and product defects, and put forward preliminary improvement suggestions.
• Formulate and optimize optical module test procedures, test specifications and SOPs, and improve test efficiency and coverage.
• Cooperate with R&D and production teams to verify new products and new test schemes, follow up product trial production and mass production test problems, and complete problem closed-loop verification.
• Sort out test reports, quality records and technical documents, ensure test data integrity and traceability, and support customer certification and factory audit.

Qualifications

• Familiar with the working principle of optical communication modules, proficient in core performance indicators of optical modules (insertion loss, return loss, extinction ratio, sensitivity, bandwidth, etc.).
• Familiar with common optical module standards and protocol specifications (IEEE 802.3, MSAs), able to judge product compliance with industry and customer requirements.
• Strict and careful in work, strong data sensitivity, good logical analysis ability and problem-solving ability.
• Familiar with high-speed optical modules (40G/100G/200G/400G/800G) test experience, familiar with DAC/AOC, active optical device testing is preferred.
• Good English reading and writing ability, able to read English technical specifications and customer requirement documents.
• Strong hands-on operation ability and data analysis capability, accurate in test operation and result judgment.
