Optician

We are seeking an experienced Optician to join our established and rapidly growing independent ophthalmology practice. Our office is a close-knit team of six professionals who work collaboratively to deliver high-quality eye care to our community. We are looking for a long-term addition who values teamwork, consistency, and patient-centered care.

This position focuses exclusively on adult patients. Our practice does not participate in vision insurance plans and does not provide contact lens services. Optical services are centered on Medicare-covered post-cataract surgery eyewear and cash-pay patients.

Position Requirements:

• Minimum of 1 year of optician experience required
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively within a small, team-oriented environment

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience assisting with ophthalmic technician duties, including diagnostic testing and patient workups
• Willingness to support clinical flow as needed in a dual optician/technician role

Schedule Options:

• Full-time: Monday through Friday
• Part-time: Flexible scheduling available
• No evenings or weekends
