Optician

We are seeking an Optician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for eye care and providing exceptional service to our patients. As an Optician, you will assist customers in selecting eyewear, ensuring proper fit, and educating them on lens options. Customer service is amongst our highest priorities, we are happy to train someone to become an Optician, if they have the right attitude!

**Duties:** - Assist customers in selecting frames that complement their appearance and meet their prescription needs - Take accurate measurements to ensure proper fit of eyewear - Educate patients on lens options, coatings, and enhancements - Adjust and repair eyewear as needed - Process orders for eyewear and contact lenses - Maintain accurate patient records and assist with medical billing

**Qualifications:** - Previous experience in an optical setting or retail management is preferred - Knowledge of optical terminology, lens options, and frame styles - Familiarity with medical records, HIPAA regulations, and medical coding - Strong sales skills with the ability to recommend appropriate eyewear based on customer needs - Understanding of ophthalmic conditions and physiology - Proficiency in using electronic health record systems.
