Experienced Optician – Love Aloha Eye Care

Location: Kailua-Kona, Hawaiʻi
Schedule: Tuesday–Saturday

Love Aloha Eye Care is seeking an experienced, friendly, and dependable optician to join our team! Our philosophy is simple: Exceptional eye care, on time, with a smile.

We take pride in our outstanding patient reviews, welcoming atmosphere, and offering some of the finest eyewear on the Big Island.

We're looking for someone who combines optical expertise with genuine kindness, professionalism, and a passion for exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

• Previous optical experience is essential.
• Strong knowledge of ophthalmic lenses, including Essilor products and lens technologies.
• Experience with frame styling, measurements, dispensing, fitting, and adjustments.
• Ability to accurately price eyewear and explain lens options to patients.
• Familiarity with local vision insurance plans, benefits, and coverage.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
• A friendly, professional attitude and commitment to teamwork.
• Dependability and availability to work Tuesday through Saturday.

We also offer in-office lens finishing! Experience operating an optical edger is a plus, but training is provided.
