Optician/Optometric Technician

Highpoint Family Vision is looking for the right person to join our growing work family!

We are looking for a flexible part time employee who is energetic, punctual, personable, professional, adaptable, a team player, and is highly customer service oriented.

Responsibilities include opening the office, verifying patient's insurance benefits, preliminary exam testing, teaching patients how to insert and remove a contact lens, answering phones, scheduling patients, adjusting and selling glasses, edging lenses, and closing the office at the end of the day.

Our hours are M, Tu, Th, from 9 am to 5 pm, W from 10 am to 7 pm, and Friday 9 am to 4 pm.

Part time hours would vary between 20 to 30 hours a week based on office needs. As the office continues to grow with our new Associate Doctor, this position may lead to a full-time position if desired, or continuing to stay part time if that fits your schedule better.

A high school diploma is required, but some college or a college degree is preferred.

Some experience in the optical industry is required.

Compensation includes: $17/hr and up.
