Optician/Sales Associate

We are seeking a friendly, energetic optician to join our fast-growing optometric practice. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, out-going, organized, and has exceptional patient/customer service skills. A genuine love for eye wear is a must!

Previous optical experience is required.

Primary responsibilities include:

-Assisting patient in frame and lens selection

-Taking appropriate measurements to ensure properly fitting eyewear

-Placing glasses and contact lens orders

-Dispensing, adjusting, verifying, and repairing eyewear

-Verifying insurance benefits and scheduling appointments

-Submitting insurance claims for exams and materials

The ideal candidate is personable and cheerful while maintaining a professional demeanor. Candidates should have good communication, organizational skills, and be a team player who can multitask and be flexible.

High attention to detail and the ability to problem solve is a must.

Compensation will be based on experience with opportunity for growth. We offer paid vacation and holidays. Half day Fridays and no weekend hours!
