Responsibilities

• Accurately interpret blueprints, schematics, and production documents to guide assembly and fabrication tasks
• Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and other shop math tools to ensure components meet strict specifications
• Operate power tools, pneumatic tools, welding equipment, and specialized industrial tools safely and effectively during assembly and fabrication processes
• Perform mechanical assembly using hand tools, soldering techniques, and machining equipment to construct or repair components
• Conduct manual handling of parts and materials with proper safety procedures and personal protective equipment (PPE) to maintain a safe workspace
• Read technical drawings and schematics to assemble mechanical systems accurately in accordance with manufacturing standards
• Maintain a clean, organized work area while adhering to safety protocols including PPE use and forklift operation when necessary

Skills

• Proficiency with calipers, micrometers, measuring instruments, and other precision measurement tools
• Strong understanding of blueprint reading and interpreting technical drawings for manufacturing or fabrication projects
• Mechanical knowledge including assembly techniques, welding, soldering, machining, and fabrication processes
• Experience with shop math essential for measurements, calculations, and quality control checks
• Familiarity with industrial tools such as power tools, pneumatic tools, hand tools, welding equipment, and specialized fabrication tools
• Ability to operate forklifts safely within warehouse or manufacturing environments
• Knowledge of warehouse procedures along with manual handling skills for parts movement and storage management

Pay: $26.76 - $32.22 per hour
