Options Technician

Job Summary:

Safety Storage, Inc. is seeking a skilled Finish Options Technician to install, connect, and test electrical equipment and systems. This role involves running conduit, wiring electrical systems, and ensuring that all components meet safety standards and project specifications. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to adhering to company and industry safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, wire, and connect electrical equipment to ensure proper functionality.
• Run conduit and complete wiring in compliance with safety standards and project requirements.
• Test and troubleshoot electrical systems to confirm proper operation.
• Interpret and follow blueprints, schematics, and project specifications.
• Ensure all work meets National Electrical Code (NEC) standards and company safety protocols.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely project completion.
• Maintain tools and equipment, reporting any damage or wear.
• Document work performed and provide status updates to supervisors.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification in electrical systems preferred.
• Proven experience in electrical installation, wiring, or a related field.
• Knowledge of electrical codes, safety regulations, and conduit bending techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and wiring diagrams.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Physical ability to lift and carry up to 100 pounds and work in various physical positions (standing, bending, crouching).

Employment Details:

• Job Type: Full-time
• Pay: $19-$24 Hourly
• Schedule: 8- to 10-hour shifts with occasional overtime and weekend work as needed
